LJK Wallcoverings Inc. was established  in 1980 as Katz Paint and Paper and incorporated in 2002 as LJK Wallcoverings Inc., by founder, Louis Katz, a 3rd generation Paint and Wall Covering contractor.

Louis is a graduate of the US School Of Professional Paperhanging run by long time industry leader Stan Warshaw.

Louis is a past President of the Westchester Chapter of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America and a founding member and past President of the Westchester Chapter of the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers.

Louis Katz's work has been seen on the cover of the 10th anniversary issue of "Home" magazine, featured in "House Beautiful" as well other magazines over the years including "The Wallpaper" for which he has written articles on the wallcovering industry. Louis has also taught classes on how to hang wallcoverings in schools and local paint and wallpaper stores to help the do it your selfers and is a registered hanger of Weathered Stone©. Louis will soon  be seen on a new show featured on the HGTV and DIY networks. The show will debut in the fall. (More details to follow).
